As a medicinal chemist over the past 20+ years with Array BioPharma Inc., Novartis and Pfizer, Dr. Zhao has worked both at the bench and as a project lead in several oncology projects. He has enjoyed the lead identification and optimization drug discovery process and has played key roles in the design and synthesis of eight clinical candidates, including two FDA-approved drugs. Dr. Zhao received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin.
